TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESIDENT INSPECTION AND ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CONSTRUCTION PERIOD BETWEEN APRIL 11, 1987 AND SEPTEMBER 30, 1987. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to the City's engineering contract with CH2M Hill Southeast, Inc. to provide additional resident inspection and engineering services during the Wastewater Treatment Plant construction period between April 1, 1987 and September 30, 1987. APPROVED L, MayoraO By: d!/ 44, 1 TASK ORDER NUMBER 10 ADDITIONAL RESIDENT OBSERVATION SERVICES Task Order Number 10 amends the Amended Task Order Number 2 executed between CH2M HILL Southeast, Inc. (Engineer), and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 30th day of November, 1984. Article 1 • The scope of work is to provide additional resident observation services and engineering services during construction for the period from April 1, 1987 thru September 30, 1987 in addition to that covered by the Amended Task Order Number 2. Article 2 As consideration for providing the services enumerated in Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for prof- it plus all project related direct expenses. Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The total cost is dependent upon the schedule of the Contractor, but is estimated to total $90,000 based on the Contractor's proposed working hours. Article 3 Payment to the Engineer for services provided as described in Article 1 is due to be made within 30 days after date of billing. (Engineer), and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Owner), on the 25th day of April, 1987. Article 1 The scope of work is to provide additional resident observation services and engineering services during construction for the added period from January 8, 1988, through June 30, 1988, resulting from the delay in construction, in addition to those services covered by the Amended Task Order Number 2 and Task Order Number 10 as amended for the Wastewater Treatment project. Article 2 As consideration for providing the services enumerated in Article 1 above, the Owner shall pay the Engineer on the basis of raw labor plus 163% for overhead plus 15% for profit plus all project related direct expenses. Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The additional cost is estimated to be $173,000 based on projection of the extra costs to a revised completion date of June 30, 1988. The total for T. O. Number 10 as amended is thus $355,300. ARTICLE 1. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work is to provide additional resident observation services and engineering services during construction, required because of the Contractor default and Surety takeover, for the added period from October 13, 1987, to September 30, 1988. Such services are in addition to those covered by the amended Task Order No. 2 for the sludge management project and Task Order No. 12. ARTICLE 2 As consideration for providing the services enumerated in Article 1 above, the OWNER shall pay the ENGINEER on the basis of raw labor plus 1638 for overhead plus 15% for profit plus all project -related direct expenses. Subcontractor costs will be marked up 5%. The additional cost is dependent on the schedule of the CONTRACTOR but is estimated to total $45,000, based on assumed manpower requirements. The total for Task Order Number 12 as amended is thus $96,000.
