A RESOLUTION APPOINTING SCOTT C. LINEBAUGH
ACTING CITY MANAGER.

WHEREAS, Donald L. Grimes has submitted his resignation as
Fayetteville City Manager effective July 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Board of Directors has accepted
said resignation and has relieved Donald L. Grimes of his duties
as City Manager effective April 24, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that it will
take several months for the Board to hire a new City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that Director
of Administrative Services Scott C. Linebaugh should be appointed
Acting City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Scott C. Linebaugh is hereby appointed
Acting City Manager until the Board of Directors employs a new
City Manager to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of
Donald L. Grimes.
