RESOLUTION OF THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE
CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF BUSINESS TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.
WHEARAS, the City of Fayetteville has an approved Zone designation
for Census Tract III, Block Group 6 within the corporate limits of
the City of Fayetteville; and
WHEARAS, the local government must endorse a enterprise
to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit
from the refunds/exemptions as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas
Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983; and
business
or
WHEARAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available
from AIDC; and
WHEARAS, Tyson Foods, Inc..has been determined by the management of
the enterprise zone appropriate applicants; and
WHEARAS, Tyson Foods, Inc. has agreed to furnish the management of
the. enterprise zone all necessary information for compliance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE; ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. That Tyson Foods, Inc. be endorsed by the City of Fayetteville
for benefit from the refunds/exemptions as provided in Part IV
of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983.
2. That this resolution shall take effect imme ' te1y.
