A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S
AGREEMENT WITH McCLELLAND CONSULTING ENGI-
NEERS, FOR A TAXIWAY EXTENSION PROJECT AT THE
FAYETTEVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:

That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the City's agreement with
McClelland Consulting Erigineers, Inc. for a taxiway extension
project at the Fayetteville Municipal_Airport for 11 days addi-
tional resident construction observation atti'increased cost of
$2,468.00.f -

AMENDMENT NO. 2
to
AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
The LETTER AGREEMENT Dated January 15, 1984, between the City of Fayetteville
(Owner) and McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc. (Engineer) as amended by
Amendment No. 1, is amended hereinafter for the purposes of

for the days when the Contractor was able to work on one phase, but
not enough phases to constitute a full "working day".
Page 61, Paragraph 3, Compensation for Engineering Services
Revise the opening sentence of paragraph 3 to read: "Abasic fee not to exceed
$38,233 is to be paid in accordance with the following schedule:" The increase
in compensation is due to the increase in scope of engineering services required
for the full-time construction observation for the days the Contractor worked
but were not classified as a working day according to the project schedule.
Paragraphs 3.A, 3.B, 3.0 and 3.C.1
Revise paragraph 3.C.2 as added by Amendment No. 1 to read: "The total amount
charged for the full-time construction observer shall not exceed $17,022.
Except as specifically provided for herein, all other provisions of the referenced
AGREEMENT, dated January 15, 1984, and Amendment No. 1, shall remain in full force.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed, or caused to be executed
by their duly authorized officials, this AGREEMENT in duplicate on the date
heretofore stated.
