RESOLUTION NO. 58-86
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE COMMITMENT OF THE
FAYETTEVITT,F BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO PRESERVATION
OF THE ARCHEOLOGICAL AREA ON THE CITY'S SLUDGE
MANPGEMENT SITE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF D OF THE CITY OF FAYErIEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby expresses its
intent to preserve the archeological area on the City's sludge management
site.
Section 2. The limits of the archeological site will be as
defined in a joint meeting with representatives of the State Archeologist,
Mid -Continental Research Associates, City of Fayetteville, and CHZM
Hill following completion of the archeological investigation currently
underway. Said site shall be protected as follows:
(a) Lateral lines in the site will be relocated or eliminated;
(b) The contractor will be denied access to the area;
(c) A suitable grass cover will be planted over the entire site;
and
(d) The location and protection of the site will be addressed
in the Sludge Management System Operation and Maintenance
Manual.
