RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDING
TO CONDEMN FOR AIRPORT PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED SOUTH OF DRAKE FIELD AND CWNED BY KENNETH
HORN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETIEVILLE
ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized and
directed to institute eminent domain proceedings to condemn for aiiport
purposes certain property located south of Drake Field and owned by
Kenneth Horn. A legal description of the property authorized for
condemnation hereby is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof.

Property ElescriptiCn:
Part of the North half (1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW
1/4) of Section Four (4) in Township Fifteen (15) North
of Range. Thirty (30) hest of the 5th Principal Meridian
being described as follows, to -wit. Beginning at the Southwest
corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest
Quarter (SW 1/4) of said Section, Township and Range, and
running thence West 186 feet to the East line of the 80
foot right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 71, said line being
40 feet from the center line of the present 18 foot concrete
pavement; thence North 02 degrees and 11 minutes East parallel
with said highway 208.9 feet; thence East 622.1 feet; thence
South 208.7 feet to the South line of said 80 acre tract;
thence Nest 444.1 feet to the point of beginning, containing
an area of three (3) acres, more or less, subject to all
easements and restrictions of record.
