A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A ONE YEAR LEASE WITH KENNETH CLARK
FOR 40 ACRES RECENTLY PURCHASED BY THE CITY FOR
A SLUDGE DISPOSAL SITE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYE1IEVILEE,
ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute a one year lease with Kenneth Clark for 40 acres recently
purchased by the City for a sludge disposal site. A copy of the lease
authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof.

LEASE PcREEMENT
This LEASE PGREEMENT executed this day of ! i.fiA(1}-aY ,
1986, by and between the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereinafter
called "Lessor" and Kenneth Clark, hereinafter called "Lessee".
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL
CONTAINED HEREIN Lessor
and Lessee hereby agree as follows:
1. Lessor hereby leases to Lessee, and Lessee hereby leases
from Lessor, the following described real property located in Washington
County, Arkansas -
The Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4) of Section 9 in Township 16 North of Range 29 West,
containing 40 acres, more or less.
2. The term of this lease shall be for one (1) year beginning
January 1, 1986 and ending December 31, 1986.
3. Lessee shall pay Lessor as rent the sum of Eight Hundred
Dollars ($800.00) to be paid upon execution of this lease agreement.
4. Lessee shall be responsible for properly fertilizing the
above described land and shall be responsible for properly maintaining
all fences on said land.
5. Lessee agrees•to mow at least one time all of the above
described land which Lessee does not mow for hay.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this lease is executed on the date first
above written.
