A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION
TO RECCNSIDER PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR QUAIL
CREEK SUBDIVISION.
-WHEREAS, the Fayetteville Planning Commission has approved a
preliminary plat for a subdivisiOn designated as Quail Creek Addition
to be located between Appleby Road and an extension of Drake Street;
and
WHEREAS, said preliminary plat provides for seven (7) cul -de -
sacs and only one through street; and
WHERE/S, the Board of Directors believes that said plat should
provide for a through east -west street to connect to an extension
of Bishop Drive and thereby more adequately protect the public .safety
and welfare. . k

NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT:RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CTTY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby requests the
Fayetteville Planning Commission to reconsider its approval of the
preliminary plat for Quail Creek Addition and to require a through
east -west street to connect to an extension of Bishop Drive.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby requests the
Planning Commission to reconsider the variances which were granted
when the preliminary plat of Quail Creek Addition was approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of June , 1985.
