A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1985 PAY AND COMPENSATION
PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TAE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE•
ARKANSAS:
That the Board of Directors hereby approves the 1985 Pay and
Compensation Plan for City employees attached hereto marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof.

PAY PLAN
All employees shall be paid in accordance with the attached pay plan.
Holiday pay for Police and Fire Department personnel.'
The annual compensation for Police and Fire Department personnel reflects
the individual employee's base pay plus additional compensation for
the holidays specified in the City's personnel policy. The holiday
pay for policemen is based on the employee's daily rate of pay plus
4 hours and is prorated and paid during the regular payroll periods.
The holiday pay for firefighters is based on the employee's daily
rate of pay plus 4.5 hours and is prorated and paid during the regular
payroll periods.

The Prosecuting Attorney is a part-time position. He is paid an annual
retainer of $19,224. If he is required to represent the City in Circuit
Court more than 5 days in a year, he is paid $50.00 per hour for the
additional time.

*The City Attorney is paid an annual salary of $40,000 for daily respon-
