FOR A DETAILED ENGINEERING DRAINAGE STUDY FOR AREAS LOCATED WEST OF GARLAND AVENUE, EAST OF PORTER ROAD, AND NORTH OF WEDINGTON DRIVE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TAE crry OF FAYETIEVILIE, ARKANSAS: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Northwest Engineers, Inc. for a detailed engineering drainage study of areas located west of Garland Avenue, east of Porter Road, and north of Wedington Drive. A copy of the contract authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. Dear Mr. Wimberly: This letter is to confirm the action of the City Board of Directors of March 5, 1985, in which they awarded to your firm, the contract for performing a detailed drainage study for the area bounded on the north by Deane Street, on the west by Porter Road, on the east by Garland Avenue and on the south, by Holly Street, Lawson Street and Mount Comfort Road. Since the contract was awarded for all three of these sub -areas, your 10% reduction in fee will be recognized which brings the total fee to $10,800. Your letter of February 7, 1985 outlining your proposed work and this letter of acceptance will constitute our contract for this work. It is our expectation that this report will be very similar to the one submitted by your firm in August, 1982. We look forward to working with you on this project. Drawer F Fayetteville, Ar. 72702 RE: Drainage Study Northwest Area of Fayetteville Mr. Powell; In response to your request we herewith submit our proposal to perform a detail drainage study of the bellow described areas. This study will be in detail of the specified areas and will include specific recommendation for construction and improvements to insure proper drainage of the areas, with consideration of storm water detention basins where possbile. Recommendations for immediate as well as staged improvements will be made, as well as parameter and guidelines for the property owners as they develop their respective properties. Our proposal is as follows: Area #1 bounded by Sang Avenue on the East, Porter Road on c,the West, Dean Street on the North, and Holly Street on the !South and including the discharge channel of this area to 'Cthe Highway 71 Bypass - a fee of $3500.00 y Area #2 bounded by Lewis Avenue on the East, Sang Avenue on Ilitthe West, Dean Street on the North, and Lawson Street on the South - a fee of $3500.00 17=Area #3 bounded by Garland Avenue on Won the West, Mt.
