A RESOLUTION SUPPOR'T'ING A PETITION TO THE ARKANSAS
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION REQUESTING
THE INSTALLATION OF A TURNING LANE ON U.S. HIGHWAY
71 BETWEEN ARKANSAS HIGHWAY 156 (WILLOUGHBY LANE)
AND WILLACK AVENUE.

WHEREAS, residents of the City of Fayetteville are submitting
to the Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation a petition
requesting the installation of a turning lane on U.S. Highway 71 between
Arkansas Highway 156 (Willoughby Lane) and Willock Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is of the opinion that the requested
turning land is badly needed to promote traffic safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAY TTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Board of Directors hereby strongly supports a petition
to the Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation requesting
the installation of a turning lane between Arkansas Highway 156 (Willoughby
Lane) and Willock Avenue.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February , 1986.
