Drawer F Fayetteville, AR, 72702 Dear Mr. Mackey: In reviewing the original and present agreements with the City of Fayetteville for janitorial services, I see it necessary to submit a price proposal for calendar year 1986. It is my understanding the City's intent is to create along term working relationship which is also very agreeable•to my company. For this end we negotiated a 15% cost reduction from the original proposal in 1984 which set the 1985 monthly price at $1,487.50. The present monthly cost has proven adequate to sustain the level of maintenance required by the City, thus, the 1986 proposal price is the same as present, $1,487.50 per month. The 1986 terms would remain the same as present which the addition/of two options as follows: 1. This agreement may be terminated by either party by giving thirty (30) days written notice by certified mail. The thirty (30) days to run from the date the written notice is mailed. ✓2. The City of Fayetteville is offered a five (5) year option on the present agreement with price adjustments being tied to the rise or fall of the Consumer Price Index. That review would be made in November of each year and lock the price for the next calendar year.
