RESOLUTION NO. 91-84
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
AN ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MCCLELLAND CONSULTING ENGINEERS,
INC., FOR THE REINFORCEMENT OF A SEWER OUTFALL LINE ON FOXHUNTER
ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute an engineering services contract with McClelland Consulting
Engineers, Inc., for the reinforcement of a sewer outfall line on
Foxhunter Road. A copy of the contract authorized for execution hereby
is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

In response to City Board action on August 7th, we propose to
provide design/construction observation services in conjunction
with the relief line along the upper end of Fox Hunter Road.
Generally, the scope of work will involve the preparation of
plans and specifications for constructing approximately 2.20
linear feet of parallel gravity sewer which will augment the
flow capacity of an existing 14" sewer line. Additionally,
connections are to be made to an existing manhole on the upper
end of the parallel' sewer and to a new manhole on the lower end
of the new gravity line.
We. propose to provide the referenced design services, plans
and. specifications, assistance in bidding, and -construction
observation for a lump sum total of $3,320. We will endeavor
to prepare the Plans and Specifications for your review within
two weeks of receipt of written authroization to proceed.
If you agree with the terms of this proposal please authorize
us to proceed by having the proper authority execute the
