Dear Ede:
Enclosed are six prints of drawing S767 which show the configuration
of wall spaces for figuring sheetrock fire wall partitions.
Dick tells me that you are also considering%cement blocks as a possible
fire wall. Cement blocks will work all right except Dat they are
considerably more expensive than sheetrock and they require a footer
or foundation of some sort which is not required by the sheetrock method.
I am sure that if you price it out both ways the truth will become clear
to you
The column where two doors come together on the sidewall are approximately
4" wide. On that column we have attachments that accommodate the door
locking system. If youbuild a wall up to that point you must remember
to make allowance for the space required by the door locking mechanism.
You can see exactly what is involved by merely looking at the hangar that
you now have on the field
We are looking forward to the new project and will proceed as soon as
the paper work allows.
Yours truly,
RW:jm
