A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO PAY TWENTY-FIVE (25) PER CENT OF THE
COST OF IMPROVING AND SIGNALIZING INTERSECTION OF ARKANSAS HIGHWAY
265 NORTH WITH ARKANSAS HIGHWAY 45 EAST AND IMPROVING THE ARKANSAS
HIGHWAY 16 EAST INTERSECTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has requested the Arkansas
Department of Highways and Transportation to improve and signalize
the Intersection of Arkansas Highways 265 North with Arkansas Highway
45 East and to improve Arkansas Highway 16 East intersection; and
WHEREAS, Federal urban assistance funds are available to pay
seventy-five (75) per cent of said improvement costs
NOW, IHEEEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City of Fayetteville hereby agrees to
pay twenty-five (25) per cent of the cost of improving and signalizing
the Intersection of Arkansas Highway 265 North with Arkansas Highway
45 East and' improving the Arkansas Highway 16 East intersection.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby urges the Arkansas
Department of Highways and Transportation to expedite said improvements.
