A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF GOSHEN
TO ESTABLISH THE LIMITS OF THE RESPECTIVE TERRI-
TORIAL PLANNING JURISDICTIONS OF THE CITY OF GOSHEN
AND THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE"BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with the City of Goshen to
establish :the limits of the territorial planning jurisdictions
of the City of Goshen and the City of Fayetteville. A copy
of the agreement authorized for execution hereby is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof.

AGREEMENT
This. Agreement _. execu.ted this 574 day of iriiaeez xx
19831by and between the- City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and
the City of Goshen, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Municipal Planning Act provides
at Ark. Stat. Ann. §t9-2827(1)—that if .the corporate limits
of two or more municipalities are less than ten miles apart,

the limits of their respective territorial planning juris-
dictions shall be a line equidistant between them, or as
agreed on by the respective municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville
and the City of Goshen are less than ten miles apart.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Fayetteville and the City
of Goshen hereby agree as follows:
1. That the eastern limit of the territorial planning
jurisdiction of the City of Fayetteville, and the western
limit of the territorial planning jurisdiction of the City
of Goshen, shall be the west section line of Section 34,
Township 17 North, Range 29 West, Washington County, Arkansas.
2. A copy of .this Agreement shall be filed in the
Office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex -Officio Recorder of
Washington County, Arkansas.
3. This Agreement shall not be modified without the
express approval of the governing bodies of the City of
Fayetteville and the City of Goshen.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Agreement was executed on the'
