A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A MODIFICATION OF THE CITY'S LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH METROkAIRLINES, INC.,FOR SPACE IN THE AIRPORT
TERMINAL BUILDING TO MODIFY THE RENT AND FEES PAYABLE
THEREUNDER FOR THE YEAR 1983.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a modification of the City's lease agree-
ment with Metro Airlines, Inc. for space in the airport terminal
building to modify the rent and fees payable thereunder. A
copy of the modification authorized hereby is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof.

Dear Mr. Boyett:
Enclosed is the original and one copy of the Modification
of the City's Lease Agreement with Metro Airlines, Inc. for space
in the Airport Terminal Building, which modifies the rent and fees
payable thereunder for the year 1983.
Please execute and return the original to my attention for
retention in the files of the City Clerk's Office. I will then
forward an additional copy to the attention of the Airport Manager.

MODIFICATION OF LEASE AGREEMENT
This agreement made this 4/ day of Fearer -Oft
1983, by and between the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, a
municipal corporation, hereinafter called Lessor, and Metro
Airlines, Inc., 'a Delaware corporation, hereinafter called
Lessee.
WHEREAS; the parties hereto'have entered into a lease
dated January 5, 1982, a copy of which is attached hereto,.
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into a new agreement
modifying or supplementing the provisions of said lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties mutually agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 5(A) of said lease is modified to provide
that the sum payable thereunder shall be $18.21 per square
foot per year beginning January 1, 1983.
2. Paragraph 5(B) of said lease is modified to read as
follows:
For the non-exclusive use of the space described
-above. in.paragraph"2, subparagraph -B; themsumof
$6.43 per square foot per year beginning January 1,
1983.
3. Exhibit "B" to said lease is modified to provide
for the twelve (12) month period beginning July 1, 1983, the
landing fee payable by lessee shall be 45 'cents per 1,000
pounds (mclw) per month, and by adding the following:
The minimum fee for any scheduled landing shall
be $4.00.
4. All provisions of the lease are incorporated
herein and are hereby modified or supplemented to conform
herewith but in all other respects are to be and shall continue
in,_ force .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Modifi-
cation of Lease on the day and year first above written.
