A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITYYMANAGER TO APPROVE
EXPENDITURES OF UP TO $2,500.00 IN.EXCESSflOF THE AMOUNT
SPECIFIED_IN "NOT TO EXCEED" CONTRACTS FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES OR FOR1TECONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville often executes contracts
.calling for the rendition of professional services to the City.'or
'ror5the construction of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, said contracts commonly provide'that the City's
obligation thereunder shall not exceed a maximum price without
prior approval of the City, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that
efficient operation of City government will be enhanced if
the City Manager is authorized to approval additional expendi-
tures of up to $2,500.00 under said contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve
expenditures of up to $2,500.00 in excess of the maximum
amount specified in contracts providing for the rendition
of professional services to the City or for the construction
of public improvements.
