A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE -POLICY OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE TO WORK WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS'
STUDENT SERVICES DIVISION TO TRY AND MEET THE NEEDS
OF MINORITY STUDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the University of Arkansas plays an important
role in the functioning of the City of Fayetteville; and
WHEREAS, the minority student population at the University
of Arkansas is important to the overall student population at
the University; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has a small minority
population and could possibly miss 'particular needs that
'minority students have from the University community.

NOW,,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
•OF THE CITY•OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
-1 Thatzthe-City. of Fayetteville will work with the University
of Arkansas' Student Services -Division to try and meet the
needs'of minority students in the community of Fayetteville.
