A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DON LOFTIS AS A COMMISSIONER
ON THE BOARD OF IMPROVEMENT OF CENTRAL BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. That Don Loftis is hereby appointed a
Commissioner on the Board of Improvement of Central Business
Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of
Bill Bassett. y�

Several months ago Mr. Bill Bassett resigned from the
Board of Improvement of Central Business Improvement District
No. 1 because he no longer owned property within the District
as required by statute. The Board of Improvement has requested
that Mr. Don Loftis be appointed to fill the vacancy created
by Mr. Bassett's resignation. Mr. Loftis has agreed to serve
as commissioner on the Board of Improvement. Enclosed is a
Resolution which would make the requested appointment.
