RESOLUTION NO. 2 4-2,
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER IN THE CITY'S CONTRACT
WITH BRENNAN BOYD CONSTRUCTION CO.., INC. FOR A
PARKING GARAGE TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
A CURB DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE ALLEY WEST OF SAID
GARAGE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a change order in the City's contract
with Brennan Boyd Construction Co., Inc. for the construction
of a parking garage to provide for the installation of a curb
down the middle of the alley west of said garage. A copy
of the change order authorized for execution hereby is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof.

Fire Inspector for the first time. Director Bumpas=i
seconded by Orsborne, made a motion to suspend the rules arc

CHANGE ORDER/PARKING DECK,
Mayor Noland introduced an authorization of a parking
deck change order for the installation of a curb down'the
middle of the alley west of the deck. The purpose of the
curb is to direct traffic to the pay booth on the may out.
The Board decided on the 8 inch curb size.
Director Bumpass, seconded by Henry. made a motion to
approve the change order. Upon roll call the motion passel
unanimously.

Northwest Arkansas Resource Recovery Authority and approve''

The added cost for building a curb down the middle of the West ally
would be $3,813.00. the curb would actually 1e an 8" vide Wall 3"
above the oa»ing and ex -ending 16" below. Reinforcing would be 4 es. 45 rebate
horizontally and 44 rab.:rs vertically at 16" centers. The top corners would
be rounded, and all exposed surfaces would be finished. A complete breakdoim
is attached for your reference. To go to a 6" wall Would reduce the price
$178.00.
