RESOLUTION NO. 77402_,
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S FIRE 'PROTEC-
TION CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF GREENLAND TO INCREASE
THE FEE PAYABLE BY THE CITY OF GREENLAND FOR THE
THIRD AND FOURTH QUARTERS OF 1982.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a modification of the City's fire protec-
tion contract with the City of Greenland to increase the
quarterly fees payable by the City of Greenland for the third
and fourth quarters of 1982. A copy of the modification
authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof.

MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT
This agreement made this /51-- day of
1982,. by and between the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
hereinafter called "Fayetteville", and the City of Greenland,
Arkansas, hereinafter called "Greenland".
WHEREAS, the parties have entered into a fire protection
contract dated August 20, 1981, a copy of which is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit "A",,,and.made a part hereof; and.
WHEREAS, the parties renewed and modified said•contract
by a Modification of Contract executed January 1, 1982, a
copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "B", and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to further modify said
contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties mutually agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 3 of said contract dated August 20,
1981, as modified by said Modification of Contract dated
January 1, 1982, is hereby modified by adding the following:
•
The quarterly fees due July 1, 1982, and
October 1, 1982, are $5,683.00 each.
2. All provisions of the contract, as modified, are
incorporated herein and are hereby modified to conform
herewith but in all other respects are to be and shall
continue in full force.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this
Modification of Contract on the day and year first above
written.
