A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PROVISION OF AIRPORT
SPACE FOR CENTER FIELD WIND EQUIPMENT AND CEILING
LIGHTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City.Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with the Federal Aviation
Administration for the provision of airport space for Center
Field wind equipment and ceiling lights. A copy of the agree-
ment authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1
THIS�7�SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into this o2 'Ad day of
fl,�,vua , 1982, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
represented b the Federal Aviation Administration, hereinafter referred to as
the Government, and the CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, hereinafter referred to
as the Licensor, whose address is Post Office Drawer "F';" Fayetteville, Arkansas,
72701, WITNESSETH, That:
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of December, 1972, the parties hereto entered into
License No. DOT-FA72SW-1239 for the purposes and consideration stated therein; and
WHEREAS, certain Weather Bureau equipment was transferred to Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA), but was not documented by FAA to cover land sites; and
WHEREAS, the Government desires to document the land sites upon which the
weather equipment is located by this Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to said
license; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto find it is to their mutual benefit and advantage
to amend said license for the purposes stated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, effective January 15, 1982, the parties hereto agree to
amend said license in the following particulars only, viz.:
The Licensor agrees to provide land sites and 10' wide cable
easements for the following weather equipment:
Center field wind equipment - 30' x 30' plot
Ceiling lights - 10' x 10' plot
All as more particularly shown on Drawing No. SW -D-7833-3
:',attached hereto and made a part hereof.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the basic license are hereby ratified and
except as amended herein shall be and remain the same.

Enclosed for your consideration are the original and three copies of the
referenced agreement written to cover land sites and cable easements for
certain weather equipment located on Fayetteville Municipal Airport which
was transferred to the Federal Aviation Administration from the Weather
Bureau.
If this instrument meets with your approval, please have all copies dated
and executed, have the Corporate Certificate completed and the Corporate
Seal affixed, and return the original and two copies to this office. The
remaining copy is for your records.
Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
