Cost shall mean gross salary, salary times a multiplier to cover actual overhead and other indirect costs, plus reimbursable expenses at actual cost. The multiplier to cover actual overhead and other indirect costs shall be changed annually on January 1 and shall be based on audited indirect costs incurred by the Engineer during the previous fiscal year. The current multiplier is 1.22. Reimbursable expenses shall include travel expenses for the Engineer's employees when traveling outside of Northwest Arkansas in connection with the project and other expenses directly attributable to the project, including work performed by any subcontractors.
