A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
INVESTIGATE AND DETERMINE WHETHER THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE HAS A CAUSE OF ACTION FOR DAMAGES
ARISING FROM THE SELECTION AND ACQUISITION OF
THE CITY'S COMPUTER SYSTEM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Board of Directors hereby directs the City
Attorney to investigate and determine whether the City of
Fayetteville has a cause of action for damages arising from
the selection and acquisition of the City's computer system..
If such a cause of action is found to exist, the City Attorney
is hereby directed to advise the Board of Directors of the
name of the party or parties against whom -such an action(s)
exists, the nature of the action, the measure of damages,
and tld_ approximate-" amount of damages as best can be determined
from consultation with the Finance Director and City Manager.
