A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH KEN LAZENBY FOR LAND TO BE
USED AS PARKING BY THE FAYETTEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a lease with Ken Lazenby for land to be
used as parking by the Fayetteville Police Department. A copy
of the lease authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

LEASE AGREEMENT
This Agreement executed this day of
1980, by and between Kenneth W. Lazenby and Marjori
Lazenby, as Trustees of the Kenneth W. Lazenby revocable
Trust and Marjorie Irene Lazenby revocable Trust, hereinafter
called Lessors and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
hereinafter called Lessee.

In consideration of the mutual covenants contained
herein, Lessors and Lessee hereby agree as follows:
1. Lessors hereby lease to Lessee, and Lessee hereby
leases from Lessors the following described property:

A. part of Block Numbered Forty (40) in the Original
Plat of the Town (now City) of Fayetteville, described
as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the northwest corner
of said block, and running, thence East 86 feet to
a point in the center of a eight foot alley or driveway;
thence South bearing East with the center line of said
alley or driveway to a point which is 130 feet South of
the North line of said block; thence West 91 feet, more
or less, to the West line of said block; thence North
130 feet to the place of beginning.
2. The term of this lease shall be for a period of
one (1) year commencing on August 1, 1980, and terminating
on July 31, 1981 at 12:00 A.M.
3. Lessee agrees to pay Lessors as rent for the use of
the demised premises the sum of $100.00 per month payable in.
advance on or before the first day of each month during the
term hereof.
