A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH MODERN FENCE COMPANY FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF SECURITY FENCING AT THE WATER
AND SEWER OPERATION CENTER AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR SAID PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby authorizes
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with Modern
Fence Company for the construction of security fencing at
the Water and Sewer Operation Center for a total contract
price of $6,262.00. A copy of the contract authorized for
execution hereby is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and
made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby makes an
appropriation to increase Account 5790 in the Water and Sewer
Fund budget by $4,349.86 and hereby transfers $2,000.00 from
Account 5766 to Account 5790 in said budget.
Section 3.
Revenue Account 381 shall be increased in
an amount to cover all costs above $2,000.00 for the aforesaid
project.

Recommendation: That the bid be awarded to Modern Fence Company of
Fayetteville, the low bidder on both outside and
inside fencing.
This project is not budgeted in the current Water
and Sewer budget. Therefore, the following addi-
tional recommendation is made:
1. That 52,000 be transferred from Account 5766
to Account 5790.
2. That an additional appropriation be made to
increase Account 5790 by $4,262.00 plus sales
tax costs of 5187.86.
3. Revenue Account 381 should be increased in an
amount to cover all cost above S2,000 for this
project. Estimated cost for wiring in the
cantilever gate and installing_ a remote control
switch in underground conduit from the pipe
yard to the north building is between S1,000 -
$1 ,200.
