A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1979 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER IN THE CITY'S SEWER CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT WITH BRAUN EXCAVATING COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THREE ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SEWER LINES
ALONG CHERRY STREET, BIGGER STREET AND U.S. HIGHWAY 71.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the 1979 Community Development Budget
is hereby amended by appropriating $30,000.00 from the 1979
Contingency Fund for sewer line construction.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a change order in the City's
Sewer Construction Contract with Braun Excavating Company for
the construction of three additional community development
sewer lines along Cherry Street, Bigger Street, and U.S.
Highway 71. A copy of the change order authorized for
execution hereby is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and
made a part hereof.
