A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO
THE CITY'S LEASE WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMIN—
ISTRATION FOR SPACE IN THE FLIGHT SERVICE STATION
AND AIRPORT TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER AT THE FAYETTEVILLE
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a supplemental agreement with the Federal
Aviation Administration pertaining to the City_s lease
with the Federal Aviation Administration for space in the
flight service station and air traffic control tower at the
Fayetteville Municipal Airport. A copy of the supplemental
agreement authorized for execution hereby is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1
THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /4 day of /ioemt2hs3),
1980, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, represented by the Federal Aviation
Administration, hereinafter called the Government, and the CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS,
hereinafter referred to as Lessor, whose address is Post Office Drawer F, Fayetteville,
Arkansas, 72701, Witnesseth, That:
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of August 1980, the parties hereto entered into Lease No.
DTFA07-80-L-01194 for the purposes stated therein; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas desires to discontinue janitorial
services to the Flight Service Station (FSS) and Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT)
space; and
WHEREAS, the Government desires to supplement the above referenced Lease No.
DTFA07-80-L-01194 to include the following facilities formerly covered by Janitorial
Contract No. DOT-FA76SW-1012: heating, air conditioning, electrical, drinking fountain,
restrooms, and sewerage, as more particularly set forth below; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto mutually agree to amend said lease for the purposes
stated herein; and
NOW, THEREFORE, effective July 1, 1980, the parties hereto agree to amend said
lease in the following particulars only, VIZ.:
The Lessor shall furnish as part of the rental consideration the following
facilities and the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement thereof as necessary:
a. Heating system capable of maintaining a temperature of 65 to 68°F.; and
b. Air conditioning system capable of maintaining a temperature of 78 to 80°F; and
c. Electrically operated drinking fountain located within the leased premises
to supply potable chilled water; and
d. Restrooms and a system to supply potable hot and cold water for use in the
male and female toilet facilities furnished within the leased premises; and
e. Sewerage system to dispose of waste from the toilet facilities furnished within
the lease premises; and
f. Electrical facilities such as lighting fixtures and electrical outlets.

Electricity, gas, water, and sewerage are furnished by the Government under
separate contracts.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the lease
amended above shall be and remain the same.
