HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-80 RESOLUTION• RESOLUTION NO. 310 0 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS AGAINST GOLD KIST, INC. TO CONDEMN STREET AND UTILITY EASEMENTS NECESSARY TO WIDEN AND IMPROVE U.S. HIGHWAY 71 SOUTH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to institute eminent domain proceedings against Gold Kist, Inc. to condemn street and utility easements necessary to widen and improve U.S. Highway 71 South. The legal descriptions of the easements authorized for execution hereby are attached hereto, marked Exhibits A and B and made a part hereof. PASSED AND APPROVED this as day of 1980.
