A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S CONTRACT WITH SCARBROUGH
AND MURTISHAW, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, FOR AN AUDIT OF
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:

That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the City's contract with
Scarbrough and Murtishaw, certified public accountants, for
an audit of the City's Community Development Department to
increase the amount payable to said accountants for said
audit by the sum of $849.00.

CONTRACT AMENDMENT
This Contract Amendment, entered into as of the 7th day of December,
1979, by and between the City of Fayetteville Community Development Depart-
ment; and Scarbrough and Murtishaw, Independent Public Accountant, with offices
at Fayetteville, Arkansas,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department entered into a contract
with Scarbrough & Murtishaw on the 8th day of August, 1979, for a not to
exceed fee of $2,852.00, based on hourly rates; and
WHEREAS, Scarbrough f Murtishaw expended more time and labor than orig-
inally anticipated; and
WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors, on November 20, 1979, approved
an additional $849.00 for the payment of said extra time and labor;
NOW THEREFORE, the Community Development Department and Scarbrough f,
Murtishaw do mutually agree to amend the not to exceed amount to $3,701.00,
to be paid to Scarbrough Ti Murtishaw.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Community Development Department and Scarbrough
& Murtishaw have executed this Contract Amendment the day and year first
written above, which shall be made a part thereof, of the original Contract.
