A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS
FOR THE SERVICES OF A CONSULTANT TO ASSIST IN THE EVALUATION AND
ACQUISITION OF ELECTRONIC DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
d irected to solicit proposals for the services of a consultant
t o assist in the evaluation and acquisition of electronic data
processing equipment; said services shall include a review of
the City's existing and proposed data processing operations, the
preparation of specifications for supplies and bids, and the evaluation
o f supplier bids. .
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to submit applications for inter -governmental grants for
the aforesaid services and acquisition of electronic data processing
e quipment.
