A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COVERED WALKWAY OVER A PORTION
OF THE NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY CONNECTING CENTER STREET AND MEADOW STREET BETWEEN
COLLEGE AVENUE AND EAST AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby approves the construction of
a covered walkway over a portion of the north -south alley connecting Center
Street and Meadow Street between College Avenue and East Avenue; provided,
said covered walkway shall be constructed at a minimum height of 16 feet above
the alley grade and shall be used to connect a proposed Hilton Hotel with a
proposed off-street parking garage.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a lease of air rights for the construction of said
covered walkway with the developers of said pr posed Hilton Hotel.
