A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1978 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Board of Directors hereby approves 1978
Community Development Block Grant Program expenditures as
set out in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 7 DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1978.

establishment (either by purchase of an existing
building or by construction of a new ane) of a
Senior Center structure
PARKS ANO RECREATION:
A second kiln for the Adult Center
Installation of a new restroom facility and
expansion of the existing restroom facility
near the baseball field
Purchase of portable participant seating
(5 sets, 10 rows X 21')
Provision of drainage and asphalt/concrete
around the concession stand and bleachers
Purchase of a multi -use slide/recreation play-
ground equipment
Paving of the street on the north side of the
park; and preparation and paving of diagonal
parking on the north side of the park
Provision of lighting for an additional
ball field
Installation of new fences around four ball
diamonds
Programming toward the cost of paving parking
areas on the east and south sides of the park
**NOTE: Items twn thrnunh nine are for installation
at Walker Park.
