A RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING THE PROPOSED
ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ARKANSAS
OWNED BY RANDALL BARNES AND MILDRED BARNES,
RANDALL GARRISON AND RUBY GARRISON, HUSBAND
ANNEXATION OF 41.31
HIGHWAY 16 WEST AND
HUSBAND AND WIFE, AND
AND WIFE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Whereas, the Washington County Court has entered an Order
in Case No. CC -77-11 approving the annexation Petition of Randall
Barnes and Mildred Barnes, husband and wife, and Randall Garrison
and Ruby Garrison, husband and wife, for 41.31 acres located on
the North side of Arkansas Highway 16 West; and
Whereas, under Ark. Stat. 19-305 the Fayetteville Board of
Directors has the discretion to accept or reject said territory;
and
Whereas, a subdivision is presently being developed on said
territory; and
Whereas, said subdivision does not meet the requirements of
the City's annexation policy contained in Resolution No. 64-77
adopted August 2, 1977.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the territory proposed for annexation in County Court
Case No. CC -77-11 be, and the same is hereby, rejected.
