A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO INSTITUTE EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO CONDEMN RIGHT OF
WAY OF J.V. WILSON FOR NECESSARY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NORTH
STREET -GARLAND AVENUE INTERSECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Attorney be, and is hereby, authorized
and directed to institute eminent domain proceedings to
condemn the following described right-of-way from J. V.
Wilson for necessary improvements to the North Street -
Garland Avenue intersection:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 8, Township 16 North, Range 30
West, Washington County, Arkansas, more particu-
larly described as follows:
Starting at the Southeast corner of the Southeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8;
thence North 89° 29 ' East a distance of 2.0 feet
to a point; thence due North a distance of 188.4
feet to a point; thence due West a distance of 30.0
feet to a point on the existing westerly right of
way line of Garland Avenue (State Highway 112) for
the point of beginning; thence South 89° 50' West
along said existing right of way line a distance
of 8.8 feet to a point on the proposed westerly
right of way line of Garland Avenue (State High-
way 112); thence due North along said proposed
right of way line a distance of 321.4 feet to a
point; thence due East along said proposed right
of way line a distance of 8.8 feet to a point on
the existing westerly right of way line of Garland
Avenue (State Highway 112); thence due South
along said existing right of way line a distance
of 321.4 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining 0.06 Acre, more or less.
