A RESOLUTION ASSURING THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT THAT THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE WILL COMPLETE CERTAIN
SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby assures the
Department of Housing and Urban Development that the City of
Fayetteville will complete the sewer system improvements shown
on the approved plans for Project WS -AR -06-37-1001 along Arkansas
Highway 16 East and further assures the Department of Housing
and Urban Development that the City of Fayetteville will install
the 24" water main as shown on said approved plans from Cato
Springs Road to 18th Street, within twelve (12) months from the
date of adoption of this resolution.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors further assures
the Department of Housing and Urban Development that the afore-
said 24" water main will be extended from 18th Street to Arkansas
Highway 62 utilizing Community Development Block Grant funds to
accomplish this work as soon as it is feasible.
