A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND AN
OFFER FOR THE CITY TO PURCHASE PROPERTY LOCATED NORTHEAST OF
THE INTERSECTION OF CENTER STREET AND EAST AVENUE FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING PARKING FACILITIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to extend an offer to the owner of the following described
property for the city to purchase said property at a total purchase
price of $150,000.00 for the construction of parking facilities:
A part of Block 15 in the original plat of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, described as follows: Beginning
at a point 127 feet West of the Northeast corner of said
Block 15, and running thence South 206 feet to the North
line of a 12 foot alley, thence West 177 feet to the East
line of an alley; thence North 90 feet; thence East 22
feet; thence North to the South line of Meadow Street;
thence East to the point of beginning.
ALSO;
A part of Block 15, in the original plat of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, described as follows: Beginning
at a point 282 feet West of the Northeast corner of said
Block 12, and running thence South 116 feet West 22 feet
to the East line of an alley; thence North 90 feet to
the South line of Meadow Street, thence East to the point
of beginning.
