A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO A GRANT AGREEMENT
WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR PROJECT NO.
6-05-0020-05.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas (termed
"Sponsor" herein) and the Department of Transportation,
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), have entered into
a certain Grant Agreement which provides federal participation
in specified improvement of Drake Field; and
WHEREAS, in response to a request duly filed by Sponsor,
the FAA has prepared Amendment No. 1 to said Grant Agreement,
copy attached, and has submitted it to Sponsor for acceptance
and execution; and
WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interests of Sponsor
and FAA to amend said Grant in the particulars specified in said
Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Sponsor does hereby accept the provisions
of said Amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said Amendment
on behalf of Sponsor.
