A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH PENDLETON ELECTRIC
COMPANY AND ANCHOR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF IMPROVEMENTS AT DRAKE FIELD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract
with Pendleton Electric Company for the construction of
electrical and lighting improvements to Drake Field at a
contract price of $55,732.00. A copy of said contract, marked
Exhibit "A", is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract
with Anchor Construction Company for paving, earth work and
drainage improvements to Drake Field at a contract price of
$245,221.00. A copy of said contract, marked Exhibit "B", is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 3. That the contracts authorized hereby are
authorized subject to the approval and concurrence of the
Federal Aviation Administration.
Section 4. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
to file a grant application with the Federal Aviation Ad-
ministration for a 10% increase in grant funds to cover cost
overruns for the above improvements.
