RESOLUTION NO. 1--17/
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO INSTITUTE EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO ACQUIRE NECESSARY
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO NORTH STREET AND
GARLAND AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Attorney be, and is hereby, authorized and
directed to institute eminent domain proceedings for the
purpose of acquiring the property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, the acquisition of
which is hereby determined to be necessary for the construction
of needed improvements to North Street and Garland Avenue.

Part of Lot 1, Block 4, Rose Hill Addition to the City of Fayette-
ville, Washington County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
S tarting at the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 4, Rose Hill Addition;
thence due North along the West line thereof a distance of 27.7 feet
to a point on the proposed southerly right of way line of North Street
for the point of beginning; thence continue due North along said West
line of Lot 1 a distance of 47.3 feet to a point which is the Northwest
corner of said Lot 1; thence North 89°29' East along the North line

point of beginning; thence South 88°15' West along said proposed
right of way line a distance of 140.1 feet to a point on the West
line of said Lot 1; thence due North a distance of 65.8 feet to a
point which is the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence North 89°
29' East along the North line of said Lot 1 a distance of 140.0 feet
to a point which is the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence
due South along the East line of said Lot 1 a distance of 62.8 feet
