Home My WebLink About65-76 RESOLUTION• RESOLUTION NO. 76 • A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, TO REFLECT A 75% PARTICIPATION IN COST OVERRUN FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO DRAKE FIELD UNDER PROJECT 8-05-0020-04. WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas and the De- partment of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, have entered into a certain Grant Agreement which provides Federal participation in specified improvements to Drake Field Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, in response to a request duly filed by the City of Fayetteville, the FAA has prepared Amendment No. 1 to said Grant Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof which Amendment has been submitted to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas for ac- ceptance and execution; and WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interests of the City and the FAA to amend said Grant Agreement in the particulars specified in said Amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby accepts the provisions of the Amendment to Grant Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof and to evidence this acceptance, the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said Amendment on behalf of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
