A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE
CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS TO ACQUIRE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR WIDENING
HUNTSVILLE ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Attorney be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to institute condemnation proceedings
to acquire the following described property for the purpose of
widening Huntsville Road and installing a sidewalk:
Lot Forty-two (42) in the County Court Plat
of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section
Fifteen (15), Township Sixteen (16) North,
Range Thirty (30) West, as shown by the plat
of same recorded in the plat book of the
Circuit Clerk and Ex -Officio Recorder of
Washington County, Arkansas at Page 19.
Section 2. That the authorization granted hereby shall
be effective in the event the aforesaid property cannot be
obtained from the owner thereof by negotiation at a reasonable
price satisfactory to the City Manager.
