A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTITUTION OF CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY TO INSTALL
LEFT TURN LANES AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF COLLEGE AVENUE AND
MAPLE and LAFAYETTE STREETS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the City Attorney be, and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to institute condemnation proceedings against
Cardon Investments, Northwest Oil Company, Inc., and James
W. Holder and Gertrude C. Holder for the acquisition of
right-of-way to install left turn lanes at the intersections
of College Avenue with Maple and Lafayette Streets. Legal
descriptions of the property authorized for condemnation hereby
are attached hereto as Exhibits "A", "B", and "C".

Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 1; thence due South along the East
line thereof and the existing West right of way line of North College St.
and U. S. Highway 71B a dibtance of 19,? feet to a point on the proposed
westerly right of way line of said Highway; thence North 52° 15' 12" West
along said proposed right of way line a distance of 19.,6 feet to a point;
thence due North along said proposed right of way line a distance of 7.3
feet to a point on the North line of Lot 1; thence South 89° 37' East along
said lot line and the existing South right of way line of Lafayette St. a
distance of 15.5 feet to the point of beginning and containing 205 square
feet, more or less.
