A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR PROJECT 8-05-0020-01
TO SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS OF APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the Grant Agreement between
the City and the Federal Aviation Administration for Project
8-05-0020-01 to simplify the process of application for reim-
bursement. A copy of said amendment, marked Exhibit "A", is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 8-05-0020-01
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the
"FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the
Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United
States, and the City of Fayetteville. Arkansas
(hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the
20th day of September , 1971, be amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on
the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the following be, and it is
hereby, added as Special Condition Number 11 to said Grant Agreemnt:
It is understood and agreed that the Sponsor shall comply with
the revised administrative provisions of FAR Part 152 published
in Volume 39, Federal Register No. 106, dated May 31, 1974. It
is further agreed that the Sponsor shall comply with the assurances
contained in FAA Form 5100-100.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to said
Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the day of
