A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY WITHIN
THE CITY'S DESIGNATED WATER AND SEWER GROWTH AREA BY OTHER
MUNICIPALITIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby opposes
the annexation of any property located within the City's
designated water and sewer growth area, the same being the
City's designated planning area, by any other municipality,
in the absence of mutual agreement between said municipality
and the Fayetteville Board of Directors. The Board of
Directors hereby assures surrounding municipalities that it
will negotiate in good faith regarding annexations proposed
by said municipalities, and will not oppose said annexations
without good cause.
