RESOLUTION NO. 97-73
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF TWO PARCELS OF
LAND FOR CITY PARK PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Board of Directors hereby accepts
the dedication of a 1.64 acre tract located at the Southwest
corner of the Crossover Road/Old Wire Road intersection by
James R. Skillern and Beverly D. Skillern for city park
purposes. A copy of said dedication, marked Exhibit "A",
is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors hereby accepts
the dedication of a tract containing approximately 4 acres
located in Sweetbrier Addition by Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Eason,
Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry D. Sweetser for city park purposes.
A copy of said dedication, marked Exhibit "B", is attached
hereto and made a part hereof.

Beginning at an existing corner post which is 538 38 feet South and 500. 0
feet East of the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 31 and running thence S 89 degrees 10' E along an
existing fence row a distance of 70. 0 feet to the West Right of Way of
Crossover Road; thence Northward following said West Right of Way the
following bearings and distances: N 24 degrees 24' E 54. 27 feet, N 19 degrees
40' E 44. 48 feet, N 16 degrees 07' E 59.34 feet, N 12 degrees 40' E 69. 0 fcct,
N 07 degrees 49' E 62.28 feet, N 01 degree 30' E 54. 0 feet, N 01 degree 35'E
