A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER WITH NORTHWEST ARKANSAS STEEL COMPANY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FOUR MILLION GALLON WATER RESERVOIR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute a change order with North-
west Arkansas Steel Company for the construction of a four
million gallon water reservoir. A copy of said change order,
marked Exhibit "A", is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

REQUEST AND JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
1. Necessity for change:
Due to lack of sufficient funds, the city of Fayetteville omitted this reservoir
(as provided in Deductive Alternate III -1 of the Bid) from the contract as
awarded. A supplemental grant has now been received, and the city is now able
to award the contract.in its entirety as originally planned.
2. Is proposed change an alternate bid?
