A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY
FIRE PROTECTION PLANNING PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE NATIONAL FIRE
PREVENTION AND CONTROL ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville recognizes the need for
systematic planning for the provision of fire protection in the
community including:
1. Identification of community fire protection goals;
2. Identification of current and future fire protection
resources;
3. Documentation of current and future fire protection
enforcements;
4. Documentation of current and planned fire services; and
5. Establishment of interagency fire protection policies,
procedures, and responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE FAYETTEVILLE CITY
BOARD OF DIRECTORS THAT:
A planning program as contained in the document titled
"proposal for a continuing Fayetteville Community Fire Protection
Program" is hereby authorized to aid in providing valuable pro-
gram management information to the policy officials of the City.
