RESOLUTION NO. -7.

A RESOLUTION URGING THE REPAIR OF RAILROAD CROSSINGS IN
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, numerous railroad crossings within the City are in
a state of disrepair and constitute traffic hazards to motorists
within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That St. Louis -San Francisco Railway Company
is requested to upgrade its railroad crossings in the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, and to maintain said crossings at all
times in a condition which will be safe for vehicular traffic
traversing said crossings.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to expedite the construction of those crossings by St.
Louis -San Francisco Railway for which the City has previously
appropriated community development funds.
